For eagerness voyager, the Manali-Spiti expedition is a great idea to approach the most dreadfully stunning trails of the Himalayas! The jeopardy of elevation, furrowed boulevards and sheer chilly winds, gives the Manali-Spiti riders a both pressing and highly rewarding experience of snowy mountains. At an average height of 13000 feet, the 479 km route from Manali to Spiti takes you through dramatic sights of lush wooded slopes to the parched crag deserts. Plunging ravines dotted with herds of sheep and gushing rivers are going to be constant companions to the exhilarating riders.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 – Manali to Kaza

    Drive through Rohtang Pass, stop at Maddi for breakfast, pass Kunzum La (14,931 ft), and reach Kaza via Losar village. Check-in and overnight in Kaza.

  • Day 2 – Kaza to Tabo & Dhankar

    Visit the 1010-year-old Tabo Monastery and then explore Dhankar Monastery. Optionally hike to Dhankar Lake. Return to Kaza for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 3 – Kaza to Komik & Langza

    Drive to Komik, the highest village in Asia, and visit Komik Monastery. Proceed to Langza to explore ancient fossils and Lang Temple. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.

  • Day 4 – Kaza to Ki Monastery to Kibber

    Visit Ki Monastery, followed by a scenic drive to Kibber. Check-in at homestay in Kibber and explore the local village. Overnight in Kibber.

  • Day 5 – Kibber to Chandratal Lake

    Drive to the breathtaking Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass. Enjoy the scenic views and sunset by the lake. Overnight in camps near Chandratal.

  • Day 6 – Chandratal to Manali

    Depart for Manali via Batal and Rohtang Pass. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views en route. Check-in and overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

  • Day 7 – Departure from Manali

    After breakfast, check-out and depart from Manali. Optional: Board a Volvo bus or private car to Delhi (at own cost or pre-arranged). Tour ends with beautiful memories.
